COLE'S POV:
"What happened here?" Lloyd wondered aloud as the four of us wandered through the ashes. Fallen debris spread across the grassy floor, the snow forming a wide circle around the burnt wood as something poked out from beneath the plank closest. As I crouched down beside it, I saw a crushed and half burnt wicker doll.
"I think this was a village. . ." I muttered as I stood, showing the others the doll, absolutely clueless as the next ninja. "But. . . What the heck happened here?"
"The village was attacked by the Hell Samurai." A mysterious voice called out as a figure showed itself. It appeared to an officer of some sort, wearing a ski jacket littered with tarnished pins and medals. His face was hidden by his hood and material mask.
"What?!" I demanded as the figure approached, his cold grey eyes shining brightly as I glanced from the figure, to my team and back nervously.
"You must come with us. You're questions will be answered after a chat with the Elders." The figure demanded as I heard rustling from the surrounding trees.
"No." Lloyd was the first to speak. His voice filled with defiance as he stepped forward. "We're here to-" Lloyd started but several figures jumped out from the trees and surrounded us. "What the-?"
"It ain't a request, sunshine!" The man barked as the other members pulled out small little nutlike items with pins impaled through the top. My stomach dropped as I stared at the items. 'Grenades! Who the heck are these guys?!'

' She's here...' I opened my eyes to see a very familiar girl wearing a blank white mask. "So this is what you choose in the end?" I ask staring at her waiting for a reply. A haunting giggle filled my ears. That wretched laugh fill with dark magic. I quickly block the noise to keep me focused on the task on hand. "After everything, you choose to betray everyone who ever care for you and walk in the path of evil." She stops her laughing and tilts her head in confusion. The insufferable laugh return but was getting louder by the second. I cover my ears trying to block the horrid laugh, but it was no use. The girl quickly took a folding fan. The colors once a bright and colorful are now tainted in black. She ran towards me to strike a blow as her white mask starts to form words. 'Me, betrayed you? How can I, when there was nothing to betray.' [Edit: This story is really bad and the secondhand embarrassment will be unbearable in the first part of the story. A ton of spelling and grammar mistakes. I barely turned 16 when I wrote this so I didn't know anything about writing since this was probably my first time actually wanting and caring enough to try. I sit on my bed, desperate for a distraction. I'm losing him again, I've lost him four times now, when he left me alone, never contacting me (his girlfriend at the time) or never calling me- what I would have done for a simple text, a good morning, or a "HEY HRU?" I would have even settled for a letter, even a pigeon would do! 2.) was when he yelled at me, "Adelaide, I'm not scared about me! Why do you always feel like you have to protect me, and protect everybody? I found a family in you guys, and Harumi and we can fuckin' handle ourselves, but you don't seem to get shit, do you!" It had felt like I was alone again. Nobody had talked about it with me around, and I didn't talk about it period. 3.) Not even 2 hours later, he comes in and tells me about why he did all this. I understood, but I had a right to be mad- but for some reason I didn't even think about getting mad. We were okay, but more and more distant as Harumi got closer. Even thinking about that bitch made me let out a angry huff and I cross my arms tightly around my torso, in a makeshift self-hug. and now, 4.) when I am going to die. I feel the urge to yell "I TOLD YOU SO!" about Harumi, in any other situation, I would have. But nothing's funny when you are about to be sacrificed. Especially, when you hate the girl who's killing you. the thing is, I never got to say goodbye- they all think I left on my own accord because I didn't like Harumi, and I'll never see them again. What started as an innocent romance, spiralled into the end of Ninjago and to my inevitable slaughter. I only hope that the ninja figure out that Harumi kinda sucks, and get here in time to save my ass. STARTED AUGUST 29 FINISHED ??
