COLE'S POV:

"What happened here?" Lloyd wondered aloud as the four of us wandered through the ashes. Fallen debris spread across the grassy floor, the snow forming a wide circle around the burnt wood as something poked out from beneath the plank closest. As I crouched down beside it, I saw a crushed and half burnt wicker doll.

"I think this was a village. . ." I muttered as I stood, showing the others the doll, absolutely clueless as the next ninja. "But. . . What the heck happened here?"

"The village was attacked by the Hell Samurai." A mysterious voice called out as a figure showed itself. It appeared to an officer of some sort, wearing a ski jacket littered with tarnished pins and medals. His face was hidden by his hood and material mask.

"What?!" I demanded as the figure approached, his cold grey eyes shining brightly as I glanced from the figure, to my team and back nervously.

"You must come with us. You're questions will be answered after a chat with the Elders." The figure demanded as I heard rustling from the surrounding trees.

"No." Lloyd was the first to speak. His voice filled with defiance as he stepped forward. "We're here to-" Lloyd started but several figures jumped out from the trees and surrounded us. "What the-?"

"It ain't a request, sunshine!" The man barked as the other members pulled out small little nutlike items with pins impaled through the top. My stomach dropped as I stared at the items. 'Grenades! Who the heck are these guys?!'
