"Why must you be so difficult," he sighed.

"Why won't you kiss me?" I asked while leaning in.

"And why the hell not?" I snapped. 

"Its against the rules and besides you probably have more in common with a dog than with me," he snorted.

"Thats okay I love dogs, I've always loved dogs" I ramble.

Chuckling he leans in and presses a kiss to my forhead with his eyes tightly closed.
"I'm sorry it has to be this way," he whispered.

"Why are you being so cold?" I cried.

"Because my job was to protect you not to fall in love with you," he whispered.

Artemis was just a normal girl who lived a simple life working at a night club to help support her mother and her brother. Everything was fine until she arrived at the clinic. Artemis Lockheart was born with a name that predicted future greatness, but her reality as a woman consists of cleaning tables and on occasion other people's vomit, when all she wants to do it play her music.

Levi knew that his job was to protect artemis for 90 days and although his mind told him to do the job and get it over with, his heart had other plans. The more time he spent around her, the harder he fell. Artemis became his dark obsession and he would stop at nothing to have her and keep her safe. But what about Artemis? The girl thinks she's human until Levi comes along and awakens her wolf then shows her a world where she actually matters. Will she be able to save the werewolf population from their corrupted leaders?

By the end of the song I could feel sparks dance across my skin around the area he is touching me, a pull in my chest forms, wanting to be closer to him, we land in front of the stairs where the thrones sit That holds the former king and queen, they watch us with a raised brow. I gasp as I look up into the mans eyes as everything stops, his head lowers towards mine, our noses pass each other and our lips meet and instantly I know. He is my mate. I don't know who he is but I'm sure he is about to let me know. He breaks the kiss as he backs up keeping me close as He rips off his mask and he growls "Mine."
