Keep An Open Mind {Lynn Gunn}
TW: this book may contain mentions of violence and of suicide. DISCLAIMER #1: I wrote this story when I was a teen and while some mental disorders are the focal point, they may not be accurate representations as I was far from being a psychologist. There are several things Lynn doesn't quite get about the world she lives in, which makes it harder for her to figure herself out. She is not your average teenager. She's young, intelligent, though something about her is off by now. Everyone is quick to misjudge and point fingers, everything and everyone is so corrupted that she's afraid she'll lose herself among a bunch of wandering, empty souls. Therapy can only help so much, depression is hard to die, and in Lynn's case it's caused solely by the fact she doesn't 'fit in'. She can't really find her place in the world. But there's something really special about her; Her dreams are haunted by a wonderful, mystical place. No one understands her, they think she's off her rocker, that she needs to cut her childish daydreams. But Lynn knows deep in her heart that place really exists, and she'll do anything to find it, with the help of some new found friends. There's only one thing she must do: Keep an open mind, it brings open hearts and open eyes. -- DISCLAIMER #2 This fanfiction is inspired to Mind Over Matter by Pvris and their lyrics in general. All you read here is fiction. every reference to real events or people is purely coincidental. I do not own the songs featured in the book. Credit to Pvris for the titles of the chapters. 2015 © Run-Dont-WalkConcluída

Phantom Gate
Performing a demon-summoning ritual in your basement, what could possibly go wrong? Liam, Rose and their new friend Alex intend to start a band together, but something feels missing; another guitarist. One night, while the group was hanging out in Liam's basement watching scary movies, Alex suggested they try a performing a séance. Obviously she didn't think it would actually work, but that it would be funny to spook her friends, as the horror movies they had been binging had the two a bit shaken up already. What started as innocent fun quickly went wrong when the ritual unexpectedly worked, but not in the way they thought it did. Instead of summoning a demon, a ghost named Cody appeared before them with no memory of who he is, or how he died. Cody is set on re-gaining his lost memories through meeting a past lover, but after accidentally coming accross a mysterious ghost with even less recollection of who they are, the group soon realize that Cody isn't meant to exsist among them. As Cody begins fading from existence, the group must find a way to go back and prevent his death... but how? [This is an original story with original characters all owned by me] Trigger warnings: -*some* mention of suicide, and physical and/or mental abuse. -Many lgbtq+ characters so if you are against it please keep it to yourself and don't read.Concluída

INSIGHT ON MAI DIARY
The "Please..." I hear her whimper and I go into full panic mode. "Calm down, okay? Deep breaths. Don't hang up. I'll be with you soon. Where are you?" I rush as I grab the car key sitting on the glass table. I run into the garage with my dad behind me. "What do you need?" Dad asks "A room. A big one." He runs back inside as I hear her voice again. "Basement...blood...Elle..." I hear sounds of movement in the background and connect the dots. Elle's bleeding, or something... "Deep breaths baby, deep breaths. It's okay, you're okay" I murmur reassuring words to her, thankful that there's no traffic. Several thoughts run through my mind as I drove to her house. The last time we spoke, she could barely stand me, but now she's calling me. I feel kinda used, but now's not the time to think about that. I reach her house in a matter of minutes and shove the door open. The house is quiet, save for my heavy breathing and footsteps. I reach the basement and take in the sight in front of me. Blair cradles her brutally beaten-up sister in her lap as she rocks herself back and forth blinking very frequently. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Currently being edited Look out for cringe worthy typos and plot loopholesConcluída
