The story is about two neighbors, Jake and Mark, who have different social and economic backgrounds. Jake, a poor man, becomes envious of Mark's luxurious lifestyle and plots to take away everything Mark has. However, his plan is foiled when Mark catches him in the act and Jake is arrested and imprisoned for his actions. Jake learns a valuable lesson about the dangers of envy and greed and vows to live a life of humility and gratitude.
