Troubled teen Mara Calvert is in trouble... again. This time she's caught robbing a convenience store for her supposed boyfriend, Mark. She tried running from the cops but it didn't work. Mara is 16, and she lives with her mom. The people that she's closest to are her best friend Alex and her boyfriend Mark,.. or so she thought. With Alex's help, she finds out who Mark really is.
