Backstory because everyone loves knowing knowledge
Ra al Ghul had a daughter named Talia. Talia had a brief(ish) relationship with Bruce Wayne (a.k.a. Batman) that resulted in twins ( yes I said twins, first divergence from canon, woohoo, also yes that kind of fic) Damien and Danyal Al Ghul. They grew up in Nanda Parvati, only really getting to hang out with each other if they were training or fighting. Danyal found out only one of the twins was going to be allowed to survive as Ra's heir, the other would die. Danyal did not tell Damien about this and handled it the only way he knew how.
He convinced Ra to send him on a mission, made the mission go horribly wrong, wired a building to explode, killing everyone else who had come on that mission with him, and left enough evidence for everyone to believe he perished in the blast.
(Damien would have killed Danyal for the stunt if he didn't already believe Danyal was dead.)
From there Danyal changed his name to Daniel (yep, real different, but then again he was like ten at the time) and got himself adopted by the Fentons. Things went about as well as things can go with ghost-obsessed parents and he ended up a half a through a freak portal accident.
Things went okay for a few years until the Fentons (read: the adults, Jazz already knew) found out, freaked, trying to kill him/Phantom.

Daniel fled and ended up in Gotham, found out his twin was a Wayne and didn't tell said twin he was alive.
Shenanigans and a bit of robbery ensue.

A New Beginning
Humans don't understand how someone can be both dead and alive, and that fact scares them, it opens up the possibility of a threat even if there is no evidence of malevolent intent. So, the only solution in the minds of humanity is to dominate and subjugate the unknown variable until it no longer has even the potential to be a threat. They choose to pretend that the unknown variable is lesser, that humanity is superior on no other grounds than that it's humanity. Danny had been stuck with the G.I.W for years when the Young Justice team rescued him. Broken, beaten, and none the wiser of the greater majority of humans, the humans with kindness in their eyes and light in their souls. He's been trapped in the darkness of greed and fear and violence for far too long, and what's left behind is a fractured mind and a trained weapon. Buried underneath that, however, is a young child who is scared and confused, a child that hasn't seen the light of day in years. That child never expected to see the bright side to existence, to see the light shine in the souls of the righteous. That all changed with one group of heroes, and one family of Bats. There! That's the Ghost Who's Been Stealing My Shit!
(THIS STORY IS FINISHED! IF A STORY IS MARKED AS COMPLETED, ITS COMPLETED. STOP ASKING FOR A CONTINUATION) Imagine Danny goes to college in Gotham. Given his halfa nature, he's fairly not worried about most parts of Gotham and given he needs less sleep now, he likes to wander campus and Gotham itself like he's a natural Gothathes...at night like the half dead-half living man he was. During these wanderings, he finds pieces of bat tech from fights. He figures it's safer in his care(and because he's really curious about the local vigilantes) so...he takes it. It's usually just tiny things that the bats- probably -wouldn't even notice gone and he has things to fiddle with now. Unfortunately(for the bats), he finds Red Hood's destroyed helmet and takes it back to his dorm to fix, figuring it would allow him to return most of the items he snatched without a second thought. He doesn't realize it has an active tracker in it so the bats, when they activate it and discover it on the Gotham University campus, reasonably panic and flip on the camera...only to come face to face with adoption bait using bits of their missing tech to fix the helmet. Informant's Feud
[Batfam and The Justice League and Female OC and Damian Wayne x OC] Carmen Tetch was stolen from her life at an age far too young. It was all Talia Al Ghul's fault. And her father's. With her father dead and Talia ready to finally kill her son, Talia sends Carmen undercover to kill Damian. However plans change whenever Talia realized Carmen knows alot more than she let onto. With deceptive maneuver ninety three in place and and most of the Justice League out to get her, Carmen is questioning who she should trust. The life she never wanted, but has always known. Or something new and uncertain. Damian Wayne, as her original target and childhood bully, is trying to show her that she can surivive outside of The League of Shadows. She can be whoever she wants. All the bats and birds jumped at the sound of her voice. They readied themselves into battle position and looked at the assassin angrily. "You may calm yourselves. I am not here to begin any troubles. I am here about the disappearance of my son." Talia stated. Bruce walked up to the assassin and raised a brow. "And what do you want?" Batman growled. "I have tasked his return to my greatest assassin, Shaitan." Talia presented as a figured stepped into the light. The figure wore a black and yellow suit and had two katanas on her back. "Shaitan will not cause any harm to any of you, but that cannot be said for Deathstroke." Talia hissed. Shivani Al Ghul has led a life of death and family, so when her youngest brother is captured by Deathstroke. She joins forces with the bat family to save him. However as she searches for her brother, she gains the attention of a certain Bird and that bird is Dick Grayson. Will Shivani share the same feelings or is Dick destined to be alone. THE SEQUEL IS OUT NOW!!! It's called The Kronos Curse!!! Go read it once you finish this!! :) Damian Wayne, the son of Batman and heir to the Demon Head, has a problem. Well, two, really. Both of them are magic related. One is connected to the beautiful, raven-haired, purple-eyed, half-demoness, Raven. The other is connected to the Egyptian god of death, Anubis, and the fact that he is currently 'possessed' by him. But he'll soon find he has a much more major problem. Alaina Keller, or Alnamir, has never had a normal life. Ever since she was born she was a member of the League of Assasins. When her mother died when she was 2, she was taken care of by Talia Al Ghul. She became the best assassin they had before she was even 16. She's always had a purpose but now that she's been freed by her brother, Damian, she doesn't know her purpose. But a certain Superboy might help with that. I ONLY OWN TIA KELLER AND ALAINA KELLER AND ASTRID, and other OCs that might be in here!! ALL THE REST BELONG TO DC EXCEPT FOR ANUBIS. He's just from history, I guess.
