Backstory because everyone loves knowing knowledge
Ra al Ghul had a daughter named Talia. Talia had a brief(ish) relationship with Bruce Wayne (a.k.a. Batman) that resulted in twins ( yes I said twins, first divergence from canon, woohoo, also yes that kind of fic) Damien and Danyal Al Ghul. They grew up in Nanda Parvati, only really getting to hang out with each other if they were training or fighting. Danyal found out only one of the twins was going to be allowed to survive as Ra's heir, the other would die. Danyal did not tell Damien about this and handled it the only way he knew how.
He convinced Ra to send him on a mission, made the mission go horribly wrong, wired a building to explode, killing everyone else who had come on that mission with him, and left enough evidence for everyone to believe he perished in the blast.
(Damien would have killed Danyal for the stunt if he didn't already believe Danyal was dead.)
From there Danyal changed his name to Daniel (yep, real different, but then again he was like ten at the time) and got himself adopted by the Fentons. Things went about as well as things can go with ghost-obsessed parents and he ended up a half a through a freak portal accident.
Things went okay for a few years until the Fentons (read: the adults, Jazz already knew) found out, freaked, trying to kill him/Phantom.

Daniel fled and ended up in Gotham, found out his twin was a Wayne and didn't tell said twin he was alive.
Shenanigans and a bit of robbery ensue.

Alaina Keller, or Alnamir, has never had a normal life. Ever since she was born she was a member of the League of Assasins. When her mother died when she was 2, she was taken care of by Talia Al Ghul. She became the best assassin they had before she was even 16. She's always had a purpose but now that she's been freed by her brother, Damian, she doesn't know her purpose. But a certain Superboy might help with that. The Demon's Sanctuary
An au of Damian Wayne and Raven romance. *** Nanda Parbat is destroyed. The League of Assassins is completely massacred, all that remains is the seven year old heir of Talia Al Ghul. On the same night, on a separate planet Rachel Roth, known as Raven on Earth and to the superhero community is struck by nightmares of Damian's life. She vows to find the boy she dreamed of and save him from darkness that she knows all too well. Damian promised something too, to murder everyone that was employed to massacre his family and his home. Time skip ten years in the future and Raven is a member of the teen titans, ward of Clark Kent/ superman while Damian is the world's most effective and dangerous assassin. When the two meet will Raven remember her promise to bring back the boy who lost too much? Will Damian let her in? Or is Damian too far gone? Young Grace Hunter finds herself in trouble when she decides to write a book about all the superheroes and villains of the Justice League and Marvel, then put it up for sale on eBay. Follow her as she finds the truth of her parents and learns to control her powers. While Batman and Nightwing try to figure her out, she's creating a name for herself with Ra's Al Ghul. The Joker steals her life and everything she ever cared about from her. Bruce Wayne takes her in. In his mind it goes a little like this "Keep Your Friends Close, But Your Enemies Closer!" Will this be a great romance or a story of tragedy. This is a fanfiction for specifically Justice League but Marvel and other story and movie characters will show up along the way, I do not own most characters, I only own my creation Grace and Quarters Hearts and the story plot. A New Beginning
Humans don't understand how someone can be both dead and alive, and that fact scares them, it opens up the possibility of a threat even if there is no evidence of malevolent intent. So, the only solution in the minds of humanity is to dominate and subjugate the unknown variable until it no longer has even the potential to be a threat. They choose to pretend that the unknown variable is lesser, that humanity is superior on no other grounds than that it's humanity. Danny had been stuck with the G.I.W for years when the Young Justice team rescued him. Broken, beaten, and none the wiser of the greater majority of humans, the humans with kindness in their eyes and light in their souls. He's been trapped in the darkness of greed and fear and violence for far too long, and what's left behind is a fractured mind and a trained weapon. Buried underneath that, however, is a young child who is scared and confused, a child that hasn't seen the light of day in years. That child never expected to see the bright side to existence, to see the light shine in the souls of the righteous. That all changed with one group of heroes, and one family of Bats. Cathleen was only five when it happened, when her parents died before her eyes. That night started out amazing, she had dinner with them and they went out for ice cream. However, Gotham isn't a place where good things last. When they made it to their car, it exploded, killing her mother instantly, her father rushed to save his daughter, but was gunned down. Little Cathleen could only lay there motionless and watch, whilst slipping into a coma. She slept for a year, but then woke up. The doctors didn't know how to console the traumatized six year old girl, so they let her cry it out. Once she was able to leave the hospital, she was sent to Juvi, because all of Gotham's orphanages where full. She was in Juvi for a year, before taken hostage by Joker. That's when she met Batman, and Red Robin, and Red Hood, And Nightwing. They saved her, they notice that she shouldn't be in Juvi, so they bring her to an orphanage.
