The tides are high and the tides are low. The tides connect the sea to the land as they fall on the sand. The world above to the world below. While most only belong to one, very few are lucky to belong to both. Mermaids are thought to be part of fiction, but in a world where Gods are real and aliens frequent earth, they are part of reality. Mermaids are sea dwellers who grow legs once dry, and one mermaid, in particular, may be out of her depth when she comes face to face with an Ancient God of the sea and of the land. The God whose people call him K'uk'ulkan, and whose enemies call him Namor.
