Duty, Love or Royalty

Mireya is a 26 year old woman, who strives for perfection and longs for a normal life. Something she would never admit to anyone, ever. Being a disappointment is something Mireya could never bear. Not with all eyes focused on her.

The Princess of Monaco. The future Queen.

Mireya knows her role and she works hard to be the perfect princess and to be the fair and strong future Queen, Monaco expects her to be. With her focus on that, Mireya has hardly time for anything else.
Except for her best friend. Charles Leclerc.
Growing up together, Charles knows Mireya better than anyone and is aware of Mireya's dreams and her strong sense of duty as well as her commitment for Monaco and its people. He only wants to see her carefree and happy, knowing what burden she wears on her shoulders. There is more to life than being a Queen stuck inside the palace. Especially in the 21st century. But being too focused and stubborn, Mireya doesn't listen to Charles and continues on her way.

Ever so focused, as part of her duty as Princess of Monaco, Mireya needs to attend the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monaco to represent the Royal Household in order to show her support to an event which is recognised worldwide. Ever since Mireya was little, she shared Charles' passion about driving fast cars, having driven a few of them but as she grew older, she was meant to be Queen and so her focus shifted away from what she loves. And this included Charles Leclerc.

All she ever wanted was a life where she could race in fast cars and be together with Charles Leclerc.
But this is a dream which never can be reality as the way Mireya needs to go is made clear to her.
But after one incredible kiss from a stranger in a dark alley, Mireya stands at crossroads.

Was her mother right when she said, duty only means so much in the end and to choose love when you can?
