Marina, who has always been responsible - careful - wakes up with a massive hangover on a fancy boat in the middle of the Caribbean after a night of reluctant partying with her best friend. Quickly, she learns that their seafaring companions are involved in dangerous activities, and Marina must take more risks than she's ever taken in her entire life. Along the way, she experiences heartbreak, learns who to trust, and discovers secrets about her family that might shatter any delusions she has of control.
