You have always been exactly what Vanaheim needed you to be- quiet, careful, loyal.

Safe.

You follow the rules. You honor your family. You do not question the stories you were raised on... especially not the ones about him.

The trickster.
The villain.
The god your parents warned you would ruin everything he touched.

Loki.

So when fate places you in his world- when you are forced to stand face to face with the monster of your people's making-you expect cruelty.
