She's sick and tired of hearing about her family, and she meets someone that fills the void of having a mother figure that pays attention and loves her. But to have a ''real'' mother she must kill her mother the Queen. but is it the right choice? And is it truly worth it to have a mother that loves her?

Her adoptive mother, one day decides to tell her what she knows about her real family but it is not enough for Nightjar. Why did she have not seen at least one time her real father or mother ? If they died, what happened to them ? She needs to find answers to her questions and she will do it her way, the price doesn't matter, because it is her heritage. What she knew was she was determined. But what she didn't know was that this adventure would take her to her limit. (Note that this story is based on the universe of Wings Of Fire. Jade mountain academy has stood for many years and had grown larger over time. It now had the ability to accept up to 161 dragonets. Thats 23 dragonets from each tribe. Cattail the Mudwing is perfectly happy in her family of 7. So when soldiers unexpectedly show up with orders from the queen to attend Jade Mountain Academy she isn't happy. Her biggest problem is trying to survive the academy. She was never really very book smart. But as secrets are revealed Cattail finds that danger is lurking just beneath the surface and will have to rely on some unexpected friends to save her sibs and possible all of Jade Mountain Academy Wings of Fire, Jade Mountain Academy, and the Dragonets of Destiny belong to Tui T. Sutherland. All non-book published characters were created by me. I am very sorry if some have other peoples dragons names. I Just want to give a special mention to Seamud for their character creator book that created Cattail because i seriously suck at Mudwing names. The names in the book are really good. So my first chapter with Cattail i feel i should deticate to Seamud. I created the cover on PicMonkey but the artwork isn't mine. This is my second WoF Fanfiction so lets see how it goes.
