Emery Itrum, the oldest of two and next in line to the throne, learned of her parents murder at the age of 12 and was dead set of finding who had done it. As a kid all she knew was being the tough hot-head between her and her little brother, but going through the years she matures and rarely shows that side of her from when she was little. 10 years later, she's 22 and preparing for her coronation for she becomes Queen Ember of Chordae.
