Penn Leape, a librarian['s assistant], did not expect excitement on the job... he definitely did not expect anything to go weird. Alas, once he's thrown into a book, or rather, sucked through a vortex, he's forced to undergo the dreaded character development... which is induced by hopping through, like, six different stories, trying to get out of the tome he'd opened up. The rabbit and the girl aren't much help, but at least they're good company. Sort of.

I walked straight into someone. Mumbling my apologies while I step to the left of him. He stepped with me. Excusing myself I tried to move to the right of him, he followed me again.
