Penn Leape, a librarian['s assistant], did not expect excitement on the job... he definitely did not expect anything to go weird. Alas, once he's thrown into a book, or rather, sucked through a vortex, he's forced to undergo the dreaded character development... which is induced by hopping through, like, six different stories, trying to get out of the tome he'd opened up.
