There was a pause on the Sandaime's end as he appeared to look thoughtful as he took in the female's appearance before he nodded. "That is correct." He responded and watched the gleam that appeared in the blonde's eyes and the sharpening of her smile before she spoke again.

"My mother wishes for my team to know my true heritage it only seems fair," she paused here and shrugged before continuining "you know, what with you practically preaching about team work and how essential it is to this village. Ne?"

An AU in which things are very different for Team Seven, Sakura drops out of the Academy her third year, and they academy had to scramble to find a replacement, which they do, Kanako Karatachi. Kanako is the daughter to Kiri immigrants who came to Konoha to find protection as her mother is the older sister to the Fourth Mizukage, Yagura.
