Though their relationship is passionate and intense, it is also balanced, with each of them providing something different to the other. Though Obanai can be uncomfortable with the level of Mitsuri's intensity, he ultimately loves her for it. Though, that all changed on the day she finally snapped, and murdered someone. Despite her cruel actions, she remains devoted to him and will do anything to make him happy. As their relationship continues, it becomes increasingly clear that it is an unhealthy, obsessive, and toxic one, and only time will tell what the ultimate outcome of their relationship will be.
