Born, adopted, and raised in London, Ira has nobody to call her own when her mom passes away from pancreatic cancer. After a fallout with her uncle, who had promised to look after her in India, she finds herself in a strange country, desperately alone. There, she meets Junoon - a skinny and traumatized boy who has not allowed himself to feel happy since causing the accident that killed his girlfriend but spared him.
