Karl is a feared and well respected tank commander in Germany, he takes part in a sport known aspanzerkampf (armoured combat) where high school children aged 12 -18 fight in armoured vehicles using non deadly munitions to knock out opposing vehicles.
    
    One day after a match with the Scot tankers there leader Clyde advised him upon a European Union and Japanese joint program which would change his life for years to come....
