14th of February, Jolene Bonneville receives an anonymous letter; indecipherable and mysterious. The journey she must then embark upon to find its source takes her life in directions she never thought to go.

Jolene Bonneville is one of the highest achievers in her year, yet the most unnoticable-for a reason. At home, she has a temperamental relationship with her mum, a complicated dynamic with her older brother and a disappointingly small room. At school, she sticks with her two best friends, stays out of everyone's way and keeps her head down and works. That's why, when she recieves an illegible Valentine's letter, she's sure it's a prank letter.
One so stupid she's going to translate it.
