Y/N awoke with a gasp, his eyes darting everywhere. to the shut door, to the ceiling, to his empty drawers. The only thing keeping him knowing that he was awake was the feeling of FlapJack's warmth against his leg. The red cardinal shivering from the lack of heat. Even Y/N had worn sweats and a long-sleeved shirt to bed. His loose socks on and his boots at the foot of the bed. 

Y/N's E/C eyes darted to the door that was opening 'Uncle!' He tried to call, the pitterpatter of stepping sounds did not match his Uncles long strides. It wasn't long before the tall, old, blond man stood above his bed, suddenly speaking in a voice that sounded achingly familiar, but definetly wasn't his uncle. 

And then...

he was falling through the sky, finally able to move.
