What would happen if Luke made a different decision during the final battle? What would happen if Darth Vader died by his hand instead of by Palpatine's? What would happen if Palpatine was still the Emperor of the galaxy and the rebel alliance were all but destroyed? What if the only hope for the galaxy wasn't just a Skywalker, but also a Solo?

The Rebel Jedi. A Star Wars Story X Male Reader Insert
PLEASE READ. I know I've put up alot of SW stories recently and you're probably bored of them, but I really want to do this one. In this story Y/N Carsen is a young boy born into a galaxy ruled by the Galactic Empire and after his mother's death, Y/N is taken in by her old Jedi Padawan, Zayne Atar. During there time together Y/N learns and develops his skills in the force, but after a tramtic event Y/N gives up on being a Jedi. For two years Y/N lived on Lothal surviving and stealing/messing with the Empire unit posted on Lothal. While on Lothal Y/N meets a Smuggler named Han Solo and his Wookie partner, Chewbacca. The ex-Jedi Padawan decides to leave Lothal and join them as apart of their smuggler team. After a few more years travelling the galaxy the trio ended up on Tatooine in Mos Espa. While there they meet a young man named Luke Skywalker and his old Jedi Master, Ben Kenobi. They go on a simple mission to take them and their droid's to Aldaraan, but things go south and they end up on a space station known as the Death Star. On this mission Y/N reconnects with the force and remembers that it's his job as a Jedi to protect the innocent, fight to protect the galaxy and bring peace back to it. Y/N resumes his training as a Jedi, but will he be able to remain within the light or will he fall to the Darkside? Obviously, I don't own any of the characters/storylines I use in this story. (AU) Luke is gone. Kylo Ren is the new Supreme Leader. The Resistance is all but decimated. Now, all responsibility falls on Rey to balance the Force and bring an end to this war. But as a relatively untrained Jedi, she will not be able to find balance in the Force when she cannot find balance within herself. With whispers of Palpatine's return, the Dark side has been growing stronger and stronger every day. Will she be able to defeat them or will the pull to the Dark be enough to turn her and cause a different ending to the war? *This is an alternative universe that takes place just before/during the events of the Rise of Skywalker. There will be some things that could be similar to the film, but I will be changing quite a bit. There are many items and powers that exist in TROS that I personally do not feel make sense, so they will be omitted (The dagger, lightspeed skipping, Anakin's saber, to name a few). This is a story about Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala if Anakin never became the greatest Sith Lord and Padme never passed in child birth. Anakin left the Jedi order due to having children yet he still tries to make Naboo (the planet he's currently living on) a peaceful and safe environment for him and his family. I know I am using the years BBY in this book however I'm not going to write about the Battle of Yavin as it wouldn't make sense in this book. There would be no death star in this Galaxy meaning the Battle of Yavin wouldn't take place so let's ignore that and pretend they mean something different! In the original movies Leia's last name is Organa due to her adoptive parents however in this story it is Skywalker like her fathers. Also this story has a lot of [* months later] just because it's easier rather than writing a really long story every day until Luke and Leia turn 20, it's also just the months when babies start doing things like talking, crawling teething etc. The story is different and is not like how it is in ROTS!!! IF SOMEONE HAS ALREADY DONE A SIMILAR IDEA TO THIS I'M SORRY, IM NOT HERE TO COPY ANYONE I HAVEN'T READ ANY STARWARS FANFIC SO I WOULDN'T KNOW!!!Complete

But can the two of them overcome their differences and mistrust of each other to accomplish that task or will pride win out? And then there is a certain group of meddling Force Ghosts determined to test them to their fullest. Meanwhile, Finn has a destiny of his own to fulfill chasing visions of his past across the galaxy. Poe buries himself in work as he tries to forget his failures and forge ahead. Leia attempts to cement her legacy and ensure the future of the galaxy. This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others. There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them. His threat was open ended in my version.
