Jules Blakely triggered her werewolf curse when she was 5 years old. With the union of both of her parents, two different 'anomalies.' She shouldn't even exist. And yet, the one that she was born to protect was just as much of an anomaly as she was. The one that completes her soul. She never wanted to be what she was, or attend the Salvatore School for that matter, and yet, it's those two things that draw her to her destiny. Choosing to protect her from afar instead of being at her side like she was meant to be, a part of her knew that it was only a matter of time before she could finally come out of the shadows.

But a Guardian and their charge were always more dangerous together than they were apart.

A naive part of Jules hoped that she could protect Hope from afar forever.

If only it were that easy.

Jules was never one to express her emotions, but she knew that she had been in love with Hope Mikaelson ever since she learned what that stupid word meant. She couldn't fight it, and she didn't want to.

Because Jules was destined for Hope, and Hope was destined for Jules.
