What if things were different than canon? Oboro didn't die, he went into hiding. He adopted runaway children, or children who were abandoned due to things that they couldn't control. He raised them, and now this is their life. In hiding, wanting to be heroes, and trying to not let the past catch up to them.

This is their life, and they wouldn't change it for the world.

What if Izuku was a vigilante? What if his parents either died or abandoned him? What if he had to work in a cafe just to support himself? What if a certain sleep deprived coffee addict was hunting the vigilante Oleander and went to their cafe? What if that vigilante was accidentally added to a new chat group? Well, I have no plans for this so I'm finding out with you! This will be my third book (no, none of the others are published), so please don't come in expecting great quality. I will try my best to make this interesting and not confusing, but I will make no promises especially when it comes to spelling and grammatical errors. It's going to be a mix of chat and normal writing, but I'll try to make it mostly chat (update, it doesn't look like that's how this is going to work. I don't think this can even be considered a chatfic anymore). One who nurtures a strong heroic heart, and serves as the protector and caretaker of the heiress of the Yaoyorozu name, Momo. And is sent to be a hero alongside his mistress anyway, despite not being his dream, but he isn't complaining. This will likely a short story but I think I will aim to get more detailed in descriptions of things. They say Ignorance is blissful but that isn't always true for those that have to deal with the issues that others are ignorant of. She felt worthless for not being able to protect her husband. But when she remarried to Toshinori Yagi, things began falling into place again. The Yagi family knew happiness, except for one. When the twins got their quirk results, Izumi was blessed with a Telekinesis quirk identical to her mother's, and Izuku was seemingly born with nothing. Because of this, he faced neglect from his parents, abuse from his friends and sister, and was told by everyone to give up his dream. One day, 13-year-old Izuku couldn't take it anymore. He ran away from the family that abandoned him for being born the way he was. On that night, a miracle happened. It's amazing what you're capable of when you cut out the things that held you back. Midoriya Izuku was ambitious. He always pushed until he fell. He never gave up, not once did he fall and stay down. Not even when his idol told him that his dream was illogical--that in reality he will only get in the way. So he made a set of recordings and set up an anonymous channel. He approached many people and asked them variants of the same question: "Can a quirkless person become a hero?" No matter the answer though, he was broken inside. His dreams and hopes were shattered a long time ago. But he isn't ready to take a swan dive just yet. He wants to meet one person who will tell him that he is not useless. That he can be a hero. And after that moment, he will decide if he's ready to take a swan dive off the roof of a building or not. Some of the chapters will be quite triggering. I will put a warning beside each chapter title that includes detailed descriptions of triggering topics. The characters do not belong to me, only the plot. Characters belong to the anime Boku No Hero Acadamia and it's creator. I did the drawing up at the top, it's not the full image though.
