Our story follows young Evan. Evan is a 23 year old woman, just trying to make ends meet in order to survive, even as a magazine Journalist she still struggles to make money within the world due to the rise in prices. Evans constant fear is losing everything she worked so hard to get, her job may not pay well, her apartment may be on its last legs, but she cannot afford to lose any of it, one slip up could have her put in prison, or even worse, killed by the hands of what is the new government.
One night after a long day of work, Evans's sister Dana had convinced her to go to a club with her. Dana had gotten free tickets off the radio that would normally cost as much as a human kidney. During their time at the club, Evan feels like they are being watched. She brings this to the attention of Dana but before she could say anything, out of the corner of her eye, she could see whom was stalking them.

Pain flares up in my lower leg as though something bit me. The bullet ripped through my leg but stopped as I clearly have no exit wound. Expecting the man to have almost caught up with me, I look up only to see his back as he runs after Michael. *** 18 year old Blaze is kidnapped and taken from her home town along with her best friend Michael.
