Ashton Vann had barely grappled the reality of his father's death before he finds himself in a room full of people telling him that his father left him with more than just the shares in his company. He has left him a groom along with it.

Hunter Leer has been successful at everything in his life from building a multi-million dollar company to even tackling the world of being a single parent. Yet, Hunter hasn't been successful in love. At first, he is taken aback by his business partner and mentor's proposal to marry his son, but as a way to protect his company's future, he agrees.

Hunter is no stranger to hard work.From being in the foster care system to climbing to the top of the corporate ladder and to building his own company, he knows the true value of money.

Ashton, however, is the complete opposite. With the ability to trace his family's riches back to the 19th-century, and being spoilt rotten by his father - Ashton leads life blissfully with little thought of what others have to do for him to live so comfortably.
Hunter is kind, but strict. And he has no idea if Ashton will even be able to take care of himself much less take care of a husband and two children.
