Blair Evermore: a simple kid with a complicated life.
With a brother that would do anything for her and two FBI agents for parents, she doesn't have the safest life.
She was never the first to volunteer her parents for career day, and "bring your child to work" was a foreign concept.
But she liked it that way.
She didn't know any different.
Blair was content with the way things were, because even though they were distant, she always knew her parents loved her.
But all that changed on her nineth birthday.
That's when she experienced the hardest year anyone could imagine.
One month that felt like a lifetime.
A week full of tears and sorrow.
And one day that changed her life forever.
October 27th, the day her parents died.
Killed during a last-minute undercover job, Amanda and Bryan Evermore were prepared for the inevitable.
That didn't make it any easier for their children though.
Grayson and Blair's whole world turned upside down.
Neither of them knew what to do, but they coped the best they could.
Now, seven years later, Grayson is missing.
Without any leads or witnesses, the FBI is having trouble finding him.
That was until Blair got involved.
With a letter from her parent's murderers, another from Grayson's potential kidnappers, and a whole lot of will power, she leads her new-found FBI buddies through riddles, secrets, and puzzles, gathering as much information as they can to get justice for her family.
She knew exactly what she was going to do once they found the people who destroyed her all those years ago.
She would make them pay.
But sometimes what we plan doesn't always work out quite right.
