Yūko (優子): "Gentle child." She was born with natural beauty. She was kind-hearted and loving. It even made others jealous. Unfortunately, she was not born lucky. Yūko was born into a less fortunate and uncaring family. Her parents weren't wealthy, and they were always very irresponsible when it came to the money they did have. In the end, it was Yūko who had to suffer for her parents' mistakes and negligence. She was indentured to the Red Light District by her parents when she reached 10 years of age. The way they saw it, this was a way to pay off their many debts without having the burden that is their daughter in their lives.

Now, Yūko is 20 years old and the Tayū of house Tokito. She never gave up hope and always tried to remain in good spirits even after 10 years had passed. However, there is one thing that always manages to give her the chills. Women in the district are disappearing suddenly with no explanation. They always have. Some turn up dead and are deemed as suicides-no questions asked. There's something eery going on in the Red Light District. What or WHO could it be? What will become of this?

So, I decided to write this one BECAUSE there aren't many Gyūtarō fanfics, and not gonna lie, that kind of grinds my gears. But anyway, I will try my best to make this a good one!

This will be a fem reader x Gyūtarō fic. This story will NOT follow the entertainment district arc of Demon Slayer (for the most part). Mature content of ANY KIND will have a warning at the start of the chapter. Updates won't be so consistent as I am in school, work, and also in the middle of writing a Jojo fanfic as well. Your patience will be greatly appreciated, but I'll try to update as often as I can.
