Everyone in the multiverse had been settling down, leaving behind whatever side they had decided to stand with. Only a few remained mainly for the sake of the balance. At this point the destroyer really wouldn't mind quitting, but took it upon himself to keep the multiverse from reaching full capacity. So until Ink decides to stop letting the creators use this multiverse as their canvas, he'd continue his work.
Life didn't really shift that much for Nightmare. Sure he became a whole lot nicer compared to his old self but that's about it. He would still spread negativity with his gang, occasionally pestering Error about joining them. At first he was just attracted to the the destroyer because of his negativity, but now... he's not so sure.

Finally Giving up on his quest to rid the multiverse of it's Aus, Error decides to just stick to the anti-void and ignore the problems of everyone else and to try and enjoy his solitude (although ultimately failing at this). I dunno wut im doing, sorry if its bad ;~; Some Background: Most alternate sanses are attending a highschool, call the school whatever you like. This takes place in an AU thats not really an AU, seeing as there are no undertale characters. There is a "Gang" in this school, it is comprised of Nightmare, Error, Cross, Killer, Horror, and Dust. Everyone is afraid of them, except for the Star Sanses. Eventually, one of the star sanses, Ink, is able to befriend one of the bad guys, Error. Error starts to develop feelings for the artist, but, when something bad happens to Ink, error wonders if he'll ever get a chance. {This is an extremely slow-burn! You have been warned.}Complete

Dream always felt the weight of expectations on his shoulders and they've only grown worse now that he's a Star Sans. Save this AU, rescue that person, stop Nightmare over there, and make X person smile! It's a never-ending cycle of tasks and he gets asked more about why he hasn't done it sooner or defeated his brother yet than thanked for what he accomplished. He feels trapped in this position and doubts if he didn't have his positive aura that anyone would care for him. Most like him for the joy he brings or what he can give them. Nobody around him ever feels genuine without a doubt in his head. Add in the stress of protecting one Star Sans(Swap) and keeping the other(Ink) from starting trouble and you have a positive guardian ready to break under expectations. Then you have Error, the destroyer of AUs. His reputation speaks for himself and builds all the expectations he needs whenever he steps foot into another AU. He's as bad an omen as a black cat crossing your path. Others assume he is bad because of his "freakish" or glitching appearance. He has accepted these but it gets tiring when he already has the voices bossing him around or Fate reminding him that he should do more destruction. But he doesn't limit himself to destruction. He watches UnderNovela, admires the stars, and appreciates what he can. He pushes the limits of what is expected of him or disregards them completely. A trait that Dream eventually finds himself admiring in him, the known enemy of his friend. He knows that Error's feelings are genuine since he doesn't change in his presence(still an angry manchild). So when Dream gets wounded and stuck with Error on a whim, where will it take them? Will it be a mistake remaining in a hatred of enemies or will it change them both for the better? Let's say they didn't like killing the innocent nor the murderous. Let's say he didn't like who they were nor what they did. For the sake of this story, let's say they made a wish and only had the lost hope of it coming true. Lets say they wished to be forgotten. Let's say it came true. But Fate interfered, and though they couldn't change it to they're liking, there were changes that did suffice them. However, let's say, it wasn't enough.
