Following the death of his mother, Linus Price tags along with his father, Ray, as they cross the Depression-era South recording blues musicians for the Library of Congress. Forming a partnership with a talented ex-con bluesman known as Rubberneck Holmes, the trio experiences commercial success, but the boy also finds himself getting drawn deeper into Holmes’s increasingly dangerous attempts to find a kind of resolution to his troubled past.
Look for Ray and Linus to make a small cameo in the upcoming novel, The Tabloid Reporter.

Four years after the death of his Ex-wife DCI Thomas 'Tommy' Smith is investigating a murder that is extraordinarily similar and not just because the victims were both women. Questions arise when another woman is found strangled by her hair. Was the murderer of his ex-wife really the man who died in Prison? Could they be connected to the closed case of his ex-wife or could it be a sick and twisted psychopath emulating a vicious crime? Who is the Phantom Throttler?
