This is a sequel to Life is a Cakewalk. You should definitely check Life is a Cakewalk out but it is not necessary to read Fight for the Spotlight. "'Emily!' Brenda is a fantastic artist who is going out with the school quarterback and lead in the musical. They seem to be perfect together but after all it is a high school relationship so how long can it last? Annabelle is a positive and energetic girl who loves softball and may have found a boy who has caught her interest. After years of stupid middle/high school relationships has Annabelle found someone to be serious with? Through finding love, losing love and fighting for their dreams this group of people make an exciting high school story come to life.Complete
