Sea Ghosts, Aerona and Erebus, have cast a glacial spell over the Kingdom. As they patiently wait under the Saltum Sea to the East as the Kingdom weakens waiting for their moment to strike. 

To the West, Forest - a witch with her nine lives still intact - leaves the safety of her mother's house to meet clandestinely with her father, who is in hiding for a crime he did not commit, before embarking on her journey to to establish herself as the leader of the Kingdom and save it from the Gelid Times. 

To the North, Vega and Fara - adversaries - begin the long walk to the Tree at Lux Brumalis to  battle each other for the most precious gemstone hidden on the other side of the tree and establish themselves as Decision Makers of the Kingdom.

To the South, Celeste and Kaz, secretly steal a boat to travel up river to seek a way to relieve their Kingdom from the longest deep freeze in history and save their families.
