Background on the reader's character, you are someone who works at a hot spring inn. You have worked there for many years, aka 8 years, paying off your father's debts. You are 18.

This is spoilers, I am about to say something about your character's past, if you want the shock of knowing by reading the story, then don't read, if you are uncomfortable with the warning but still choose to read, then you can read this. The reader's character went through physical abuse from her father as a child, until she was around 10 years old when he was arrested. Ever since she has been working at the inn and has been treated poorly by the owner. Her father was arrested for injuring the reader's character to the point of a serious head injury causing memory loss.
