this is not a description but me annotating my work and methods. 
There is no main character/ the main character is nameless. I did this to creat the feel that this could have been anyone, any Black girl at all. There were 10.7 million Black slaves transported to America. Over 4 million died on record.

Also the quote "Fire blood and anguish"  is from the bible and since our character is religious (as most Black people were and are) I thought this was a Good finish for the story.All Rights Reserved

But, little does she know, no vampire is ever truly a Saint. a little disclaimer this story does have smoking, drinking, death/mention of death, blood, gore, swearing, smut, violence, slight daddy issues, suicide. And yes a few of the scenes are inspired by twilight😅 but Braeden's last name Riley isn't inspired by Riley from the movies. All my characters are inspired by people I know in real life and their names are the same in real life as they are in the story. Obviously I had to change their last name but other than that everyone in the story is loosely based on people I know. Cover picture is made by me. Creator: Friend or Foe? by ShiraDest

This story began as a NaNoWriMo 2012 work, with no planning, and even less idea of plot. I learned from that experience that I am not a 'pantser' -and spent about 20 painful months trying to turn my stream-of-consciousness 3-stories-in-one into one coherent novel, following the timeline and events in the Book of Genesis. I discovered that that is not a great way to build a plot. I ended after 5 more drafts, at about 60k words. There is another draft on my blog, slightly longer, a bit more experimental.
