Alyara is the eldest daughter and child to Tonowari and Ronal. She is a free spirited person, with not much of a connection to anyone. She preferred to be alone with her thoughts than fratinizing with others. Despite that she still had a close relationship with her brother and sister and some of their friends. One day some unexpected guests found themselves on their beaches seeking shelter and safe heaven from the sky people. She recognised the father as Toruk Makto, the famed war hero.
Toruk Makto's son, Neteyam, had caught the romantic eye of Alyara. During their time on the island Alyara along with her two siblings had to help train the children the way of the water. Along the way Neteyam had started to gain feelings for alyara as well. Their relationship was hidden for some time before it was outed, casusing some fights between Neteyam and Alyara's brother along the way.

She felt Neteyams hand slide to her chin as he made her look at him.
Her breathing hitched when she realized how close they were. Her face was flushed with pink and her eyes were wide. Her heart was racing as he moved his hands to her waist pulling him closer to her. Neteyams eyes looked down at her lips and raised his eyebrows and smiled.
"Pay attention to me, please." he said in a calm tone
