The name is Alexander Jasper Quinzel White. And I'm the Joker's son. My dad being the notorious criminal he is, he was pretty disappointed when I told him I was going to be a police officer. Nonetheless, he agreed. As long as I moved to Metropolis. Then, Mom's doctor called. I needed to move back to Gotham. Mom's condition was only getting worse, and Dad couldn't handle it alone.

This is a short story. We might as well be done with it after 3 chapters. But that's not going to happen. I need at least 5 chapters before I can say it's short. Any shorter and it's either a oneshot (multiple parts or not) or unfinished.
