Alec Lightwood was just a kid when his father, Robert, started abusing him. His mother, Maryse, had left them. After 18 years of Robert's abuse, Alec meets someone, Caleb Wright. A young man, just like him, a bit older, who shows him that he can be loved, until he changes.
Years later, Magnus Bane finds Alec in the streets, homeless.

This is a very explicit series! There's abuse, domestic violence, self-harm, gaslighting, rape, panic attacks, explicit flashbacks... most of them are implicit, but still, read at your own risk!
Most of the one-shots are named after songs, so you may recognize some of them!
