Jean Kirstein has sacrificed everything for a never ending war- all in the hopes that he and his friends will survive. In the midst of the sudden death of one of his closest companions, he is reunited with a long lost lover- except instead of bearing the Paradis coat of arms he had once worn with a grin, he finds him tattered and bruised in the enemy's uniform- Marco Bodt. As the war rages on, Jean finds himself conflicted between his desire for a golden age of his life, and revenge for the loss of his friends.

We start in the middle of S4, right before Paradis invades Marley. MAJOR SPOILER WARNING if you haven't finished the series!!
