Yuna doesn't know who she is, being stolen as a baby and left in songrim. She was found by a servant who decided on raising her. From the moment the servant brought her in, Yuna was to become a servant as well, but when she was four, and met Park Dang-gu, things changed. 

Park Dang-gu, the heir to Songrim. He was stubborn when it came to listening to people, as most kids are, but he always listened to Yuna. It was then that Park Jin decided it would be okay for one (future) mage to have a personal servant. 

That was the plan though, and it did work, until Jang Uk breaks off his engagement to Cho-yeon, which in return makes her and Dang-gu get closer, marriage in mind. 

But when Cho-yeon's father is killed, Dang-gu's marriage to her falls through, and Yuna discovers things about herself, things she's been longing for years to know.
