Anyone can be whatever they want to be. And that's exactly what Tiana did. She didn't let anyone tell her different. She wanted to be herself and let herself be free and "exposed" to the world. But her daddy didn't agree with the girl/women she was becoming. Tiana wanted to sing but her dad wanted her to be a lawyer so she could bail him out of jail when he gets to drunk at all the bars. Yes Tiana's father was a serious drinker and was drunk 24/7. Tiana was always getting hurt wether it was mentally from school or physically by her father. I know your thinking, where is her mom? When Tiana was a little girl and her mom was on her way home from work she was kidnapped. Five months later they found her mom dead in a car that had clearly been abandoned. That was around the time that her father started drinking. Poor Tiana grew up thinking that her mom left because she didn't love Tiana. She got up from her bed screaming "Eh? This looks like my room; Did I reincarnate myself in the past?" She ran to the bathroom just to see that her assumption was correct. She thanked the heavens for this second chance by promising that she wouldn't be fooled a second time.
