Anyone can be whatever they want to be. And that's exactly what Tiana did. She didn't let anyone tell her different. She wanted to be herself and let herself be free and "exposed" to the world. Yes Tiana's father was a serious drinker and was drunk 24/7. Tiana was always getting hurt wether it was mentally from school or physically by her father. I know your thinking, where is her mom? When Tiana was a little girl and her mom was on her way home from work she was kidnapped. Five months later they found her mom dead in a car that had clearly been abandoned. That was around the time that her father started drinking. Poor Tiana grew up thinking that her mom left because she didn't love Tiana. But that's all because that's what her dad told her but when she turned thirteen she cleaned the attic.
