After the conclusion of The Last of Us Part 2, Abby and Ellie board different boats and head in opposite directions. Ellie returns to Jackson to find that Dina has gone looking for someone. Abby and Lev, on the other hand, find the Fireflies who were still looking for a cure. Two journeys that will inevitably intersect. Follow the characters' development in their relationships and moral dilemmas as they fight for their survival against infected and lunatics in cutscenes with descriptions that simulate the gameplay of the game.

Ellie found traveling with Joel to be both rewarding and simultaneously frustrating. It was like talking to a cold, emotionless brick wall sometimes. So imagine her excitement when they run into another group of travelers heading in the same direction, and they agree to travel with Ellie and Joel. The most exciting part? The other group has a girl their age. This is essentially a Ellie/Reader slow-burn fanfiction. It's also a fix-it fic in regards to the Last of Us Part 2 because I have personal issues with it.
