Tord wanted to stay with his old friends, he didn't want to cover up his emotions towards Tom with hatred. But he couldn't, as he had an Army to lead and a Dream to make a reality. He will not let his injuries get in the way, besides. He was already making progress. So he cut off his right arm and replaced it with a mechanical one. He didn't care about nothing else but his dream to lead an army and take over the world to make is a safer, and better place. But deep down... He wanted Tom by his side while he achieved this.
