Long before time had a name there was the realm of Oni and Dragon. The Dragon had the power to create. The Oni had the power to destroy. Their war was never-ending, but a child arrived born of both worlds...
This is the story of The First Spinjitzu Master before he came to Ninjago, how he learned to control his powers, how he created spinjitzu, how he got to Ninjago, and the rest of the events throughout his life.
Keep in mind, I started this story before season 1 of Dragons Rising was released. I tried to tie it into the story but if it doesn't agree with what happens in the later seasons, it is just because those didn't exist when I started writing this.
I don't own Ninjago or the story.

Ninjago Legends: Rise of the Yin Yang Ninja(Ninjago x male reader)
"Long before time had a name..." The First Spinjitzu Master forged Ninjago from the Four Elemental Weapons-but he wasn't alone. By his side stood two powerful beings: Yin and Yang, the embodiment of balance. Together, they shaped the world with light and shadow, order and chaos. After their era passed, Yin and Yang chose peace, love, and legacy-marrying and building a bloodline born of duality. Generations later, a new warrior is born: you, a boy who inherits the powers of both Yin and Yang, making you a living paradox-both peacekeeper and destroyer. Sensing a shift in fate, Master Wu recruits you to join his ninja team-not just to protect Ninjago, but to prepare for the inevitable return of his corrupted brother, Lord Garmadon. For only one who holds balance can face pure darkness. But can a boy born of opposites ever find harmony within himself?

What happens when a young girl is taken in by Wu and cared for as if she were his very own? At the age of 14, years after being taken to the Monastery of Spinjitzu, when life now has routine, what happens when suddenly there is need for more than her? Y/n's life gets turned upside down (again) when Wu begins to gather the holders of the Golden Weapons. Y/n has been so used to just her and Wu, and she was happy with everything being like that. But now there is a mission that she is accompanying four boys to, and now she has a power that Wu never told her about. Things will never go back to normal. She has to adapt to life now that there are four teen boys as her so-called teammates. But, eventually, things start becoming normal. This starts to become her life, and she begins to grow on her newfound teammates/maybe-friends. Until things start to change. Again. Dreams, dreams, dreams. Endless, sleepless nights full of disturbing dreams, supposedly caused by her Element. She has just begun to slowly navigate friendships, and yet fate and destiny seem to be teaming up against her. It's nowhere near the same as it was before... but as the new people grow on her, she does suppose it's not that bad. ~~☆~~ Yellow sparks swirl around me as I speed to the boys' tornados. I am halfway across the platform from their combining tornados when I stop and stare at the thing in front of me. 𝘉𝘶𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘭𝘺. There is a vague yellow butterfly in the midst of my Spinjitzu. But it isn't a real butterfly, no, it's one that looks to be made of golden mist, of trickery. And yet, here it is. Gently flying around my tornado as if it were a happy day in the sun. My hand reaches out to touch it. -------------- Lots of TWs, THIS STORY IS MATURE FOR VIOLENCE, ETC! Trigger warning will be at the top of each chapter. ☆*.New chapter bi-weekly on Thursdays.*☆ As of 2026: #5 in ynstories #1 in LEGO #2 in Ninjago #1 in Lloyd
