Milena Summerfield was a semi-normal girl. Sure, she lived with her single mother and her younger brothers in Ireland, and worked three jobs instead of going to college so that way she could help her mother. But Milena considered that her normal.
Milena always dreamed of being a fashion designer. So when she ends up getting a job with the royal seamstress, she is more than happy to take it. What Milena didn't realize is that taking the job would lead her to become best friends with Princess Alannah and the royal family and that over the years, she would have to adjust to a new normal.
Just as Milena is adjusting to all the changes in her life, Crown Prince Declan Finnegan asks her for a huge favor. That favor being that she pretends to be his girlfriend, and it completely throws her off course again.

Dal realizes that to get access to the Prince she must either befriend the beast or slay him, and though part dog he may be, the beast doesn't seem the type to lie down and roll over.
