Another day as a SHIELD recruit, not that I had much of a choice anyway. See, I was at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, the 'Cool House for Mutants' my friends and I call it, but Fury wanted my 'talents'. Now I'm here. Bored out of my mind. Yay. To top that with a load of My Life Is Complicated, I live with Stark. Yes, as in Tony pain-in-my-ass Stark. He makes sure since I'm a mutant teenager, I don't mess up his life's work. I was told by my dear uncle Fury to watch science happen today. So, I'm watching these scientists run around like lab rats and mess with this thing called the tesseract. Sounds ominous, I know, but it's just this blue, glowing, dormant energy cube. I've been here for over an hour and I'm narrating my life I'm so bored.

My Parent have been dead for a while now, but when the lawyers had finally gotten round to the discussion of where I'd live, they just handed me an envelop and an address. Not bothering to read either i was drove to a building that looked like it practically touched the sky. The name I was instructed to ask for was Reed Richards, whoever that was, imagine my shock when i found out that my "Guardian" was Mr. Fantastic!!! I nearly fainted at their door! Living their was a different WORLD, Ben was terrifying, Susan was both warm and cold, and Johnny was H-O-T. Turned out that Reed actually brought back whatever-the-heck it was that they got infected with and me always wanting to have super powers just 'happened to coincidentally' wonder into his lab and find it....and the rest is history (so was most of the lab). We stumbled backwards until I laid on his chest and he grunted from the sudden impact. "Thor." I cursed under my breath. "Sorry..." I began lifting myself off of his body. I narrowed my gaze and quickly stood to rush into Thor's aid, ignoring his dejected expression. I was about to leap off the cliff side when I heard four words that had me frozen in my place unlike anything my powers could do.
