"Please," I whisper, my voice trembling as tears prick the corners of my eyes. "Please don't hurt me." The words barely escape my throat, fragile and desperate. He studies me for a moment, tilting his head slightly, almost as if he's amused by my plea. Then he scoffs, the sound sharp and mocking. "Why would I want to do that?" he murmurs, his voice smooth but carrying a dark undertone that chills me. He takes a step forward, and instinctively, I step back. "I've just found you..." He pauses, his gaze dragging over my face like a predator sizing up its prey. "And now you're mine." Aurora Evans leads a life of simplicity. Eat, work, sleep-her unchanging regimen is her sanctuary, and she has no intention of altering it. But what unfolds when a shadowy figure, lurking beyond her windows, takes an insidious interest in her? One glance at her in a café ensnares him, rendering him captivated, his singular ambition becoming clear: to claim her as his own. Aurora's attempts to escape his shadowy games are futile, especially in the cloak of night when he emerges, weaving his spell under the cover of darkness. He teases, entices, and pushes her perilously close to her breaking point. Her resolve is to distance herself as much as possible. Yet, fate has a cruel sense of irony. I was more than the injections, the past, and a "normal boy." Fed up with this malicious arrangement, the vampires waged a war on mankind and came out the victors. Mankind were forced to retreat behind concrete walls designed to keep vampires at bay and this is where they stayed for decades. Evie is a human that has just fallen victim to a trap set by vampires so that she can be used as a source of food or even a plaything for a high bidding vampire. But to her bewilderment, she is taken to Alex. A dangerous and high ranking vampire that enjoys toying with his victims. Knowing how precarious this vampire is, Evie still can't shake the feeling that his striking blue eyes are reminiscent of something but what. But what lengths will she go to find out more about him and every other vampire? I guess it's true what they say. Opposites really do attract.Concluída

The result of me and a couple of my friends playing Dungeons and Dragons. After a while, we just decided to make it into a story. I wrote basically all of it, and my friends made requests. Most of the time I tried to keep it to one linear story. I planned for a couple plot twist that never actually happened as I went on. Meep, my first story submitted to here. He mocks hurt that instantly turns back into anger. "But you were fine when that fucker touched you, ain't that right?" Then he pulls a silver knife out of his suit, twirling it lazily between his ink-covered knuckles and my blood freezes at the sight of that psychotic grin. ***** People quaked with fear at the sound of his name and me along with them. He was Demetrios 'the God' Nikolayev and he was first in command of Russian mafia. He was a true psychopath who enjoyed hurting people, and I hated him for that. The worst thing - he owned me. "Try to accept the darkness, because from now on, it will be your only light." I tried so hard, but I couldn't understand it back then. How possibly can darkness be light? ***** This is not a vanilla romance but a dark, toxic, perverted, obsessive story. The book contains mature themes such as foul language, bdsm, sexual and abusive content, kinks, blood, manipulation, etc. Please keep that in mind.
