Cold As Ice

Esteemed Vought researcher Dr. Violet Clarke wakes up with no recollection of how she wound up in a hospital bed in Vought Tower. She finds out that she was the only survivor of the Flight 37 crash, despite having no memory of being on the plane. Seeing her as a liability, Homelander is quick to eliminate the risk, but decides to let her live upon finding out about her memory loss.

He begins to develop a dangerous fascination with the doctor - especially once he finds out that she takes care of children who are developing super powers. Once Violet's memories come rushing back and she realizes why Homelander would've wanted her dead, she has to keep her cool during any interaction with him, which proves much harder than she originally expected. Everything changes when Homelander finds out that she intends to share the true story of Flight 37 with Butcher and the Boys.

Instead of killing her, Homelander keeps her captive with the intent of turning her into a supe so that she can give birth to a purebred supe child. Although these new powers will give her more of a fighting chance, Violet has no idea the lengths that Homelander will go to to keep his family close.

Homelander smirked, his icy blue eyes alit with pleasure at the sight of Violet squirming in her restraints. He pushed some stray strands of hair away from her eyes and then cradled her face in his gloved hands.

"By the time I'm done with you, my sweet Violet, you'll wish you had died on that plane."
