The Grand Order has been initiated to prevent the incineration of the world from the threat of a dangerous foe. The security organization Chaldea is the last stand with an unlikely master. Sora, the last master of humanity, sets off on her journey with demi-servant and kouhai Mashu Kyrelighte and other heroic spirits to save the future of pan-human history.
However, a strange occurrence has begun to spread in the halls of Chaldea and through its master. A master despite knowing everything around her still struggles with the reality she's facing. Yet is that all she remembers? Are these truly her memories? A string of oddities springs forth in the mind of master 48 Sora pulling her into a warped reality she can't control. Can she truly control her fate, or will her path lead into an abyss of forgotten memories?
