Being an estranged dhampir in a human city didn't leave you a lot of options. People feared you because of what they did not understand. After being accused of witchcraft, murder, and crimes against the church, you had nothing but enemies in the city of Targoviste.
Adrian Tepes, better known to the Wallachians as Alucard, begins to fall in love with the rough around the edges young girl his mother brings back from Targoviste. You had always believed your heart was broken beyond repair, simply trying to wander through life clumsily holding together the pieces. Alucard is the only men you've met, who's wanted to help you sew them back together again.
