Six women of our time are misled into taking up a job they would have never chosen for themself. Their task is to rebuild society in 2522, after life on earth had been wiped out by climate change and conflicts. Claire, Miria, Gretchen, Victoria, Amelia and Marion are the Technicians who will supervise the Reconstruction of the first human community in New Oxon.
However, not long after landing in New Oxon, the commissioner of the Reconstruction, General Gaia Lambert, is kidnapped. The six decide to help the New Oxonians to the condition of being involved with every aspect of the reconstruction -comprising the rescue of General Gaia.
From that moment onwards, the life of the six start crossing paths with the ones of the locals, among which there are the Pats who are in charge of policing the city. Events decline dramatically, following a second kidnapping on behalf of a group called the Traders of Wombs, which delays the mission to rescue General Gaia.
Eventually, the group is ready to rescue Gaia, but as soon as Technicians and Pats leave the city, the enemies of New Oxon try to establish control over the city. Will the six be able to stop their heavily armed enemy, rescue Gaia, and uncover the power game that underlie the reconstruction of New Oxon?
The human race has never been good at preserving their planet and the day of reckoning has come.
Four women have been kidnapped by a superior race to be taken to a new planet. A planet with no terrorists, no wars, not a spec of pollution not even one starving soul. Maybe being kidnapped was a not a curse but is it worth selling out the women of earth to repopulate an entire species?
May we get what we want. May we get what we need but may we never get what we deserve.
