Yldra once a thriving world of neon cities and technological marvels, until a cataclysmic war tore it apart. Nuclear fire razed the lands, and the ancient Veil that separated Yldra from other realms shattered. From the rift, mythical races descended-the Ithar, radiant beings who reshaped mountains into living fortresses; the Zhal'raek, molten dwarves who bent fire and ash to their will; the T'zothar, shadowed creatures from the depths, masters of illusion and manipulation; and the Kaun'ra, ancient serpentine rulers of the seas who built kingdoms of coral and mystery.

In the aftermath, humanity mutated, awakening the ability to control the elements, rising to stand equal to the newcomers through power and resilience. But balance is fragile. The races now vie for dominance, each driven by ambition and ancient grudges, while dungeons filled with untold dangers offer the only path to strength. Amidst this fractured world, survival means navigating a delicate web of alliances, power struggles, and untapped magic.

"The gods are silent. The surface is ash. And something ancient just opened its eyes underground." Beneath the shattered remains of the old world, survivors live by the light of dying ley-lines and the brutal order of the Guilds. Kaelen Vire, a mercenary with a haunted past, and Rook Dastan, his wolf-blooded companion, expected another job. What they found instead was a child-abandoned, ley-sick, and impossible. The boy shouldn't be alive. He hums with magic that should not exist. And the deeper they go, the more the world bends around him. Now pursued by cult fanatics, hunted by relic-born horrors, and tangled in a prophecy no one remembers writing, Kaelen and Rook must decide: save the child, or survive the world that wants him forgotten. The Stones are stirring. The Ashen Veil is watching. And something lost is calling itself home. Author Note: "It explores identity through queerness, loss, and transformation. The world of Emberdeep and beyond is not safe. It is brutal, beautiful, and dripping with myth made flesh."
