Poems I've written on and off since I was a teenager. I had a very traumatic childhood. My poetry is about trying to find the used to be me in the darkness of now.

When hardship is experienced, it is only human of us to think on the past. Sometimes though, we end up in a cycle of rumination, reliving events that cannot be changed; we become depressed in our memories. Writing can be therapeutic, so here is a collection of poetry exploring a range of sad and confronting memories. By sharing these poems, I hope to not only further my journey towards peace with the past but to connect with others out there who may be feeling the same way. This is a collection of poems by a ruminator for ruminators.
